eventually, it’s just soon hahahah

this is basically the Metal Machine Music treatment of Loveless, except it’s a) an awful lot shorter b) has actual, deliberate melody in it which is sometimes discernible c) more people than Lester Bangs will consider it proper music…

initially, this sounds exactly as terrible as you might think and not really as good as you might hope, but stick with it and it’s pleasingly hypnotic - then aspects of individual songs begin to stick out because of production distinctiveness, followed by the dropping off of the shorter tracks until the barrage of walls of noise becomes isolated into two, then one songs…. 

Further proof that Loveless is the most magical album I’ve ever heard.

(well, along with Pet Sounds)

Sometimes, things just sound exactly the way I expect in a way that is more magical than I could ever expect.
